I'm all moved into Gainesville. It was such a smooth transition for me. I am still learning all the streets and what leads to where, but that won't take too much longer (I hope). The atmosphere is definitely different from South Florida. I actually feel like I am back in Ingleside because of all the trees that haven't been knocked down and replaced by apartments or more Walgreen's yet. It is very nice up here.
I am planning a trip back to Chicago though. My girlfriend really wants to see the area, and I need a trip back myself. I want to go back sometime around the winter so we can (hopefully) see some snow. Illinois weather is odd when it comes to that. It won't snow for the first few months, then when everyone thinks it is too late to get any snow fall they get 7 inches.
I am no longer employed with GameStop. I left on good terms and will be able to return to the company as store manager any time I please. But ask yourself, why would I go about doing that? I am so happy to be out of there!
The move to Gainesville is approaching quickly. I have begun to get everything together and will start putting my things in boxes fairly soon. I cannot wait to get up there. On a sad note, I didn't get the apartment I wanted but they did set me up with a beautiful replacement. It is still in the same general area in the complex which is really all that mattered to me.
I also started dating a pretty girl who is a huge fans of erogenous gingers. ;D
All in all, life is good.
I am a part of the Mix Tape Challenge thrown down by a buddy of mine. We each pick 5 of the worst songs that go together on a mix tape and then present them to a judge. The loser has to walk around blasting all 10 songs in public. A production team will be recording/ taping the events that will occur.
I'll post more information about this when I receive it.
I might make this an occasional thing. I am exploring all of my options in the blogging community. Audio will most likely be my next post from when I am up closing on my new apartment in Gainesville this weekend. I have so much preparing to do. This next month is going to fly by with how busy I am going to be.
Today was one of the strangest days I have had. I was supposed to drive up to Gainesville to close on an apartment which was quickly turned to dust when we had no extra hours in payroll to cover me going out of town. Since I am on salary I have to work tomorrow to make up for hours we don't have. Being a store manager is just like being a doctor on call. You are always on the clock.
I'm in such a sour mood for several reasons. A group of us were walking back to my apartment and noticed something small laying on the sidewalk. It was a small mouse somebody had kicked or had done something to. It was just lying there, still alive and in pain. Its hair was standing up, which means the rodent was either dying, or extremely sick. Either way, I have a feeling a group of kids who has just smoked did something to it. I hate that with a passion. A weakness of mine is seeing animals in pain. I went inside and got a box to put the mouse in. I didn't want to handle it just due to the fact I didn't want to get bit. I only wish that was the case. I used a washcloth to move it into the box and it did not put up any kind of defense... it just went with it. I made a bed with the washcloth for it to lay on and moved the box into the bushes so nobody would mess with it more. With the way the day was going an eagle probably swooped down and grabbed him after I went inside.
For once people have chosen a celebrity I actually look like. YOU FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT PEOPLE!

I will post a personal post soon for friends only. I have too much bottled up. Give me time to compose and organize my thoughts.
My old phone decided to delete my entire phonebook. I need everyone to re-send me their old phone by either texting me, calling me, or messaging me over myspace, LiveJournal, Vox, or Facebook.
Please do not hesitate, I want to get my phonebook back in order.
Life is funny. You know this when an ex-girlfriend "finds your site" and then promptly asks you to "check out these free ring tones". I have no idea if that was auto generated to her entire friends list or not. I damn sure hope it was.
Matt, Tiff, and I went to the mall today. I found a nice jacket that used to be $110 marked down to $10. It probably has some sweet voodoo curse on it and my closet is going to glow an ominous red from now on, but when a cold front hits, psh.... I'll be so warm!
I also shaved today. My beard is completely gone...
...not much of a change. Everyone that I saw today either A) didn't notice or B) said "...oh..... I was expecting you to look totally different, but you don't." Its only facial hair, not re-constructive surgery.
Adam and I finished up the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie tonight. last time somebody pulled the fire alarm, but we landed 16 free movie tickets out of it. I know others went for more than they had in their party, but stretching 16 out of the actual 4 we really had. Poker face.
Before the movie we watched the last 2 episodes of The Office. I have had several people tell me that I remind them of Jim, and now I know why, but that is an explanation best left for later blogs. Its getting late. Watch the last episode of season 2 for a general idea.
The shooting at VT were totally out of left field. I was at work when I received a phone call from a friend saying that (at that moment) 22 students were killed at Virginia Tech from a shooter. The entire area around me went completely silent as I immediately thought of a friend that attends VT. I hung up and dialed him to see if he was ok. Thankfully, both he and his girlfriend are safe. Both of you, as well as all of the students and families, will remain in my prayers. I'm glad that you are safe Ryan.
